Paragon Casino and Resort
renovations and additions | Marksville, la
WDG provided architectural and engineering design services for the renovation of 200 rooms in the original hotel at Paragon Casino. The project included all new bathroom finishes and upgrades to the structure and mechanical systems. The hotel corridors were improved with upgraded HVAC systems, fire alarm upgrades and the firewalls were brought up to code. Other projects for the Paragon included the Legends Steakhouse, Golf Clubhouse and Cart Facility, Fire Pump and Water Tower Upgrades, and Warehouse sprinkler system.
Casino Expansion | WDG provided engineering services for a 20,000 square foot casino floor expansion at the Paragon Casino. Working in concert with the owner and contractor, WDG assisted in the successful completion of the fast-track project, which was constructed and opened in 14 weeks, in time for the high-occupancy July 4th weekend.
Tamahka Trails Golf Clubhouse | WDG provided architectural and engineering design services for the complete design and construction of a single story building to house a 5,427 square foot golf clubhouse. Components included a golf cart facility, pro shop, offices, dining and kitchen facility. On the exterior, the clubhouse featured roof-covered exterior galleries, a porte corchere and loggia.
Legends Steakhouse | WDG provided architecture, mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering design for a new restaurant in an existing casino. The ground-up build-out included floor plan design and all HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, lighting, power and communication systems.
